History on Chrysler

Chrysler is a company that was founded by Walter Chrysler on June 6th 1925. Chrysler aprived at the ailing Maxwell Chalmers Company in the 1920s, he was working for them to overhaul the company’s troubled operations, the same job he did when he was employed with Willys Car Company. Unfortunately in 1923 the production of  Chalmers Automobile was ended.

Walter Chrysler launched the well received Chrysler brand in January 1924. The first car that was produced was the 6 cylinder automobile which was designed to provide its customers with a very advanced, well engineered car. The price was at a more affordable price than they expected.

Chrysler tried to produce cars that would suit everyone, the more expensive and the less expensive. The 4 cylinder Chrysler was at the Brands lower end of the price range. Chrysler decided to buy the Dodge Brothers brand car and truck company which enabled Chrysler to introduce the Dodge range of cars and Fargo trucks.

Chrysler’s products didn’t just stay with cars and trucks. They produced Radar antennas, Missiles and also space boosters.
